When a tile is discarded by another player, "Call" and "Ignore" buttons appear on the screen and a countdown timer starts.
- Click "Ignore" to skip the tile. Alternatively, you can also
- press the Space Bar
- swipe down from your active rack tile (not the exposed tiles)
- wait for the timer to expire
- Click "Call" to call the tile (or press C on your keyboard). You will then be given the option of Pung (3 tiles), Kong (4 tiles) or Quint (5 tiles). This is the total number of tiles you want exposed (including the one you're calling).
- Click the desired exposure type. The system will automatically create the exposure for you (including jokers if necessary).
- If you change your mind about calling that tile, click "Cancel" and it will be equivalent to having clicked "Ignore".
- Once you've called an exposure, you can change it (from pung to kong for example) by clicking the Change button above the exposure.
- To call the tile for Mah Jongg. Click "Call", then click "Mah Jongg". Or just click the Mah Jongg button above your rack.
- If you need a bit more time to think before the timer expires, click the pause button next to the timer.
