To leave the game, you can either
- Click the Exit button that appears at the end of the game
- Close your browser tab
However, we encourage players to play through to the end of each game, even if your hand is not looking good. It's a great way to challenge yourself to see if you can turn things around, or practice defensive skills and try to get a wall game rather than a loss.
IMPORTANT:
If you leave before the end of the game, you will receive a penalty (unless you are playing a "just for fun" game against the bots). We wish to discourage players from leaving the game midway for reasons such as not liking their tiles or the way their hand is progressing. We believe leaving a game early is disrespectful to other players in a live game. We have also implemented this feature during "official" games against the bots, as this will prevent any possibility of manipulating game stats by only playing through the games where there is a good chance of winning.
When playing with bots only, you have the option to choose "just for fun" games, where you can leave the game at any time without penalty.
