- INVITATIONS: Group members will receive an invitation to each scheduled game, a week before the game is due to be played.
- REGISTERING FOR GAMES: The email invitation includes a button to register for that particular game. Alternatively, Group members may visit the Group's page on ilovemahj.com and register directly for a game, by clicking on the "Register for this Game" link. Group pages can be found under the MY GROUPS menu at the top of the ilovemahj.com website.
- REGISTRATION CLOSES: Registration for a game closes 10 minutes before its start time.
- TABLE ARRANGEMENTS: The system will automatically generate tables based on the number of Group members registered to play.
- JOINING THE GAME: At the scheduled date/time, each player clicks on the "Seating Plan" link on the Group's page on ilovemahj.com and then clicks "Join Table". Players can join their table up to 10 mins prior to start time (please note: the "Join Table" link enables 10 minutes before start time).
- JOINING YOUR TABLE: Players are automatically allocated to their tables where they can see and talk to their tablemates.
- TABLE LEADER: The first player to join the table is designated the "Table Leader" and is the only player at the table that sees the "Start Game" button. Table Leaders should wait for all players to be present before starting the game (since players cannot join in the middle of a game).
- STARTING THE GAME: Once all players are at the table (or sufficient time has been given for all players to arrive), the Table Leader may press the "Start Game" button and the game will begin.
- LATECOMERS: If a player turns up late, they will be held in the Wait Room until the end of the game that is currently being played. As soon as the game ends, they will have the opportunity to join the table. Table Leaders should allow time for the player to join the table before starting the next game. (Please note: a message will appear on the screen letting all players know that there is someone in the Wait Room.)
