Sometimes players lose their internet connection, which interrupts the game. These interruptions are usually brief and the game will resume automatically. However, if after 30 seconds, the connection has not been restored, we automatically turn off the video of the affected player(s) to save bandwidth (as this often helps regain connectivity). If after 1 minute the connection is still not back, the table leader (i.e., the first person that joined the table and has the 'Start' button) will be given the option to wait longer or replace the disconnected player with a bot.
Alternatively, players can choose to close the tab in their browser and start over. Players will not be subject to a points-penalty for leaving the game early, when there have been internet connection issues during a game.
