If you are using Safari on a Mac, be aware that Apple introduced an issue in Safari 16 which is causing some Mac users (though not all) to experience odd issues (there are several different manifestations, including flashing).
The issue seems to be fixed in macOS 14 Sonoma, so I recommend updating your mac to this version. Alternatively, Chrome does not seem to be affected by this problem, so you can also use that browser instead of Safari.
