Since the practice mode is a learning tool used by beginners, a lot of our members using this mode prefer to see the discards grouped and counted, as it makes it easier for them to keep track of how many of each tile is left.
That being said, we're aware some people would like to see the chronological view instead (as in normal non-practice-mode games). So we will be adding that option is a future release.
